June 26th, 2007 10:18 AM #11200 peso of 4.8L unleaded every 2 days cebu city use. mas ma balance ko yun gastos. pero minsan pag may ibang lakad 300 agad sa isang day. no to full tank kasi mabigat dalhin. seldom full tank ako sa long trip going north/south cebu .hehehe.
OT: kung manila city half tank to ful tank na. heavy ng traffic .

full tank. i religiously measure my fuel consumption kasi. besides, i allot a certain budget talaga for gas.
pag hindi talaga kaya full tank or bigla may out-of-the-plan na gamit ng kotse at hindi umabot sa next scheduled full tank ko, i usually fill up P500 worth of fuel which is around 1/3 tank (mga P1500 kasi full tank ko madalas).

wow I never thought about this Usually depende lang on whatever my wallet can afford haha! I would think I would keep my money for more important things than fuel, so I would gas up only half full. There are advanced notifications for the public if gas companies would increase prices, so I think you could plan for it.
I think its just a matter of preference and planning I guess. When traveling to Baguio, I do a full tank here in manila since gas usually is more expensive as you head farther down north. In Baguio it would be .5 or 1 peso more expensive. Mahirap ideliver sa taas hehehe. Coming from Baguio, I would gas up maybe 200 peso worth until I reach the next station at La Union, pangsinan etc.

half tank might give you some benefits if you're trying to shave a few tenths of a second off your best time at Hockenheim :hihihi: otherwise i see no real-world benefits.
as others have mentioned, the main advantage of filling up is the convenience. especially for lazy asses like me. or better yet, get your spouse to fill the tank for you and make sure you're no longer using the car (and it's her turn) just before the E light goes on :evillaugh
