interested din kami on this model since sabi magkakaroon daw planta ang foton sa Pampanga so parts will not be an issue daw.

so far wala ng mga review post dito. sana nga magkaroon ng planta sa pinas para mas ok. sa mga di masiadong brand concious my opinion is that this pick up is bang for the buck.

Update on my Foton Thunder after 16 mos since i bought it from Foton Cebu: Still very powerful no major engine and electrical problem, engine sound is still a bit loud but a little bit refined as compared when the unit is still new (or maybe im already used to hearing its engine sound) accelaration is still great but with a little turbo lag same as new, suspensions and under chassis still as good as when new.. so far still a great truck after more than a year of usage... thank God i was not able to use it during typhoon Ruby (for relief operation) as Cebu was not really affected. The unit is still easy to drive even on city streets even with its size (was even borrowed by 2 lady friends on vacation from Manila and was returned without any scratch after 3 days... or maybe they are really good drivers) Over all still a good value for money..

A friend of mine bought one of this and i have a 2009 blizzard. What is similar between the two is the quality of rust proofing at paint. Masyadong manipis, I think they should have applied several more coats/layers of paint to protect the body. though hindi kasama sa topic.. Malakas at matipid pa rin sa diesel si blizzard... more than 16km/ltr nung last byahe ko from ifugao to manila.

Hi! I am new to tsikot. Does anyone know if a bank repossessed Foton Thunder 4x4, 2013 model with less than 10,000 Kms mileage still carries the manufacturers warranty? I deem it a good buy having test drove it yesterday and was so satisfied by its performance. The price is so tempting considering that it is almost 60% lower than a new unit. My mechanic and I have not found any issue on it and it really looks like a brand new unit yet. Appreciate your inputs. Thanks!

Yup konti na nga lang montero na...and halos kasukat montero 2016 kung dimensions pagbabasehan...hope to see it before i buy a new vehicle...

Update on my Foton Thunder after 3 and half years, mileage at 10,400kms. Changed the tires to 275/65. Issues noted, the right side window dropped maybe due to loose threads but was easily fixed by the Dealership; discoloration of headlights; rattling sound on rear seats maybe again due to loose bolts; some paint issues on hood; engine is still ok, powerful, torquey but still a bit loud; ave FC still at 10-12kms/liter; overall paint even though exposed (no covered garage) is still ok; under chassis is still ok. Over all, the pick up is still great. Just need to change battery of the remote but dont know how hehehe...

kabibili ko lang ng thunder naka 2 weeks na sakin ito mga 1300km palang natatakbo ko. mabilis nga ito kaya pumalo sa 160km pero diko pa nasubukan ito. naka 120km nako e kuarta palang yun kaya kaya nga siguro 160km. sa aircon e okay naman performance malamig din talaga. may napansin lang ako sa pagtapak ko sa silinyador may delay na 2 to 4 seconds bago mag accelerate. tsaka sa tunog ng makina may konti kalansing ang sabi naman sakin ng mechanics e maaalis daw yun pag na change oil na at na tune up. maganda naman ang chassis ng thunder at mas malapad pa sa hilux. sana nga e naging rim 17 na para gwapo talaga ang tindig ng thunder. ang nakuha kong color is black i buy it for 878,000.00 . sa tagtag e tolerable naman ito kailangan talaga ang hangin e nasa 35 psi o kaya 35 sa harap at 30 sa likod para maganda ang laro nito. nagbiyahe ako ng mga 130km na compute ko e nasa mga 13km per 1 liter consumption ng thunder.
