    sorry for the stupid question. its the first time im looking into diesel engines.

    please bear with me.

    diesel engines dont have spark plugs right? does the ford focus have spark plugs? if so do you replace them like a gas engine (tune up) regularly?

    No the Focus TDCi does not have spark plugs...

    instead of a spark plug, a glow plug is used in diesel engine, and requires also regular replacement. The glow plug get busted over time.
