Not ABS, I think you mean ESP (Electronic Stability Program).
The Fiesta Trend MT and Ambiente MT have Dual-Airbags and ABS.
The main difference between the Fiesta Trend MT and Ambiente MT is the Trend MT has alloy wheels (vs steel wheels with full covers for the Ambiente) and an Eco-mode, Trip Computer, Variable Dimming & Outside Temperature.
I think the center display (screen) of the Trend MT is also bigger than the one on the Ambiente MT.

Hi there Kumusta mga ford fiesta trend at owner ok b Siya? I want to ask or give me some idea I can decide what to choose between ford fiesta trend at and mirage g4 gls at I'm a new driver and first time to buy my own car so I want to be ok please help to decide what's the best when it comes to fuel efficiency especially and the parts and all the things I need kc I already approved by Eastwest back sa loan ng mirage g4 106k down tapos nasa 13886 monthly for 5 years then sa ford 52k dp then 15,797 monthly for 5 years I don't know what to choice please
Have you test driven both? If you haven't try to test drive both cars first.
The Fiesta Trend costs more than a Mirage G4, but you end up with a more powerful (112PS vs 78PS), more solid B-segment car, it's also one of the safest in its segment.
The cheaper Mirage G4 is basically a stretched A-segment Mirage hatchback, this explains why it's as long as a B-segment car, but is a bit narrower like an A-segment car.
Although Mitsubishi markets the G4 as a B-segment sedan, it's more like an A plus-segment car.
You basically get what you pay for.
Note:
A-segment cars (Mirage, Spark, i10, Picanto, Celerio etc)
B-segment cars (Fiesta, Vios/Yaris, Sonic, Accent, Rio, City/Jazz etc)
About parts: Since the Fiesta is an ASEAN manufactured Ford, the cost of parts are close to that of most Japanese branded cars, a number of shops in Banawe also carry Ford parts.
There are also Ford Club Philippines members (FCP forum) who can help out if you need info on parts/ accessories.

Thanks for the reply AG4 how about the fuel consumption matipid ba siya?
I don't have the figures for the MT Fiesta, but according to Ford, the fuel efficiency figures of the 1.5 MT and 1.5 Powershift are almost identical.
From Top Gear Philippines' test of the Powershift sedan model...
I haven't seen real world figures of a Mirage G4 MT, but the lighter Mirage MT (hatchback) can return around 11km/L city driving (during light traffic) according to an Autoindustriya test.A relaxing drive from Alabang, just before I hit gridlock approaching the EDSA-Ayala tunnel, yielded a fuel-consumption figure of 14.7km/L, while city driving returned 9.7km/L.
The 78PS Mirage G4 MT might be marginally less fuel efficient than the lighter Mirage hatch, but it's probably still more efficient than the 112PS Fiesta MT, but tests are usually done with a light load of course. Add more passengers and things might change.
Weaker engines with less torque are usually more sensitive to load changes, you could experience a greater drop in performance and fuel efficiency when you add more passengers.
You might want to bring some friends or family members too when you test drive the car.

Hi there I'm pertaining to ford fiesta trend automatic transmission about fuel efficiency, still on the look for mazda 2 do you think it's a good choice? Mazda 2 automatic or ford fiesta trend automatic or mirage g4 automatic? Which is ok ?
I think you should not be putting the G4 in the same category as the Fiesta and Mazda 2 as previously pointed out by AG4. However, to answer your question, in terms of fuel efficiency, there is no doubt that the G4 will yield the best results, as it the engine is only 1.2L and is the smallest of the three.
Mirage G4 GLS CVT
300 kms ODO reading
Highway 17.5 to 20 km / liter
City 11 to 14 km / liter
Extremely Heavy traffic 7 to 8.5 km / liter
First refuel, 2 bars on fuel indicator, 12.5 km / liter average, total distance 355 kms
Hi there thank you for the information you given to me? So I think I'll choose Mirage G4 GLS AT? But overall which do you think is the best Mazda 2 AT? Ford Fiesta Trend AT? Because I'm little bit when it comes to down payment mirage g4 is 98k 13,881 monthly for 60months ford fiesta is 52k then 15,797 monthly for 60 months then mazda 2 45k then 16,391 for 60 months?
Here's the Fiesta (AT) Powershift figures that I posted on the previous page...
-Top Gear PhA relaxing drive from Alabang, just before I hit gridlock approaching the EDSA-Ayala tunnel, yielded a fuel-consumption figure of 14.7km/L, while city driving returned 9.7km/L.
About the Mazda 2, you can still check it out if you want, but if you were to ask me, that model has been left behind. The Mazda 2 hasn't really received any updates and its competitors have gotten better since it landed on our shores.
The Mirage G4 is a stretched A-segment Mirage, it's technically a class lower than the Fiesta. This explains why the car is narrow and the doors are thin.
Like what I said earlier, you basically get what you pay for.
The Fiesta is a more solid global car and it's also one of the safest in its segment. It's is also known for its good handling and good NVH (Noise, vibration, and harshness) levels, this can be traced to its Ford of Europe roots.
My suggestion is try to bring some friends or family members along with you when you test drive the car.
Like what I mentioned on my previous post (bottom of the previous page), cars with weaker engines that produce less torque are usually more sensitive to load changes, you could experience a greater drop in performance and fuel efficiency when you add more passengers.

My personal choice would be the Fiesta (my top choice though is the manual model because I enjoy doing my own shifting), but you should test drive both the Fiesta and Mirage G4 to see which car suits you better, the one that fits your needs and driving style.
Who knows, the G4 for example might be good enough for you.
But again, I always tell people try to bring someone along so you can test drive the cars with passengers.

If your priority is fuel consumption, you might want to take a look at the Accent crdi
Mga brad patulong naman. i just bought a second hand ford fiesta sport 2012 model medyo manipis na ang brake pads eh. ano kaya pwedeng bilin na brake pads na di masyadong mahal medyo budgeted na ko eh hehe
Just sharing.. Was looking around a 2nd hand 2012 ford fiesta hb at trend. Found one today and decided to go and look and if everything is ok will get it. 1st look very nice car exterior is very good and interior superb. Mileage is low around 19k. Everything changes when I took it for a test drive. Put it in reverse the car jerks violently, not a normal sound from the transmission. Then proceeded to put it on D. Slight pressure to the gas pedal suddenly the car lurches forward at an alarming speed. Step on the brake the car jerks. Serious problem with the transmission DCT, I suspected and TCM failure. Then it flashes TCM Failure. Brakes seem to be off or not working have to push the car 😳. Suffice to say, will look for a vios instead. It is really frightening and alarming when you experience this first hand.
