ford escape's FC both city and highway

hi, mine is a recently purchased used escape. bakit po napansin ko sa mga posts re FC, ford escape lang ang very minimal and almost insignificant ang difference between city and hiway driving in terms of fuel consumption? for instance city driving for an escape is 6-7km/li at hi-way is 7.5-8km/li pero ung ibang unit even suv's(same class) nasa 4-5km ang difference. take the case of rav4 for instance, from 7-8km/li city kya nya mag 11-12km pag highway driving.

i recently made a computation sa ford escape ko. i think it can eat mga 8++km per liter (combination ng hiway at city). I am quite happy with it considering 2.3L ang makina.

+/- 5km/l -> city.

renz - ung 3.0v6, binili mo naman for performance, not efficiency..

to TS: buti 2.3L yan sa yo, ung 2.0 has the same FC as the v6...minus the performance..

xty ko 2.5L pero consumes 7-8km/l on combined city&hway driving... 10-12 sa highway cruising, 8 kung highway hataw... and wag na natin pagusapan ang FC pag natrapik sa edsa-kamuning.
