pinangarap ko din magka RS.... kaso lang di ko na inabutan.
napabili tuloy ako ng Optra.
mga boss... ilang km/l ang nakukuha nyo from RS
kung same lang ng Optra, magstart na ako maghanap ng trade.

Around 8 - 8.5 in traffic... I'm averaging 8.5-9 mixed traffic and highway... highway only on Sundays, maybe 9-10. That's with mixed economy/normal mode. Economy shifting at 2,000, but when I overtake, I rev up to 4k plus. Cruising speed of 90-120 kmh, with occassional bursts of 140 in clear traffic. Rpms at 120 are around 3,500 to 4,000 (not sure).
Best ever was around 11+, from Biņan Laguna to Marikina to Tagaytay to Marikina to Biņan. Nice drive.
Worst ever was one Saturday, traffic from Q.C to Tutuban Center in Divisoria and back... with about two or three hours in standstill traffic (), not sure, but I'm guessing it was 6 km/l. But I spent hours sitting in one place, with the aircon on, so I don't think it counts. Besides that, I don't think I've gone below 7.5 in traffic.
Secondhand RS prices range from 450 (poor owner)-550 (straight from Ford... their media test unit). Brand new was still at 819k pre-EVAT. Don't know if they still have one. (They still had three or four as of January.)

Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Mga 8.2 or 8.3 seconds, 0-100 km/h (C!Mag, private owners)
(8.2 0-60 mph - Car&Driver)
Official top speed is 208 km/h. (we've seen 210 on the speedo, but in-car speedometers are not as accurate as a GPS or radar device). Modified ones are claimed to hit 220 km/h but no more, as the RS hits the rev limit in 5th gear at 220 km/h.

wow.. gandan nman yan.. bilis nga nkasabay kuna yan.. hehe..
pwde bah kasama yun kia RS namin? joke
I'm looking for a Ford Lynx RS, I want to ask the experts out there how much should one cost? I don't really mind if it's the centennial edition or the normal red.
As long as the mileage is low and the condition is good, a Centennial is a better buy. They're cheaper because they're older (around 350k), and they have more bling badging.

To ghosthunter : no, not really. I heard it's a nice car. I want the best out of my money!
Thanks guys, helped a lot.
Hmmm... best for your money...
Well, 400k will get you a Honda SiR with low mileage on the odometer, but it's extremely hard to find one for sale, nowadays, that hasn't been molested... este... modified beyond all reason. The SiR isn't quite as fully loaded as the RS, but you get a lot of zing for your pesos.
Also consider, at this price range, old Civic 2.0s. Lots of zip, the convenience of an automatic, decently nice body kits and interior amenities. Only downside is it's much thirstier than either the Lynx or the SiR.

hi
I'm planning to buy a second hand 2005 ford lynx rs. I took it for a test drive and found that its acceleration isnt that facinating since its a 2.0L double over head cam.At first gear it doesnt torque like a 2.0 torques. Is there a problem with the engine? or is it really like this?
You could try asking the Ford guys at:

Yeah. That was what I expected. I will after I buy it. That is, if it doesnt have any problems with the engine. thanks.
