wombat, break-in pa lang ng rav4 sv ko. pero umaabot ako ng 9-10km/L city. 13km/L hiway.

not sure kung accurate yan, pero based yan sa break-in period. magbabago pa naman siguro yan kapag tapos na mabreak-in.

Why not try innova? Gas prices aren't cheap nowadays?
As I've heard escape is a bit thirsty. Specially the V6.

we had an escape na v6 before. sobrang sarap ng arangkada. di ka maiiwan. ganda rin ng ride. pero sobrang bilis rin bumaba ng fuel gauge. literal na makikita mo na bumababa yung needle pag sobra apak mo at manggigil ka sa daan. my dad then traded it with the next model, 2.3 ata yun. better than the v6.

kung may pang gastos ka sa gaso ng v6, sarap talaga. pero i guess kaya rin binebenta nung owner yung escape is prohibitive na talaga ang gasoline expense with a v6 engine.

    practical na tayo ngayon

I sometimes do a car buy n' sell and for a short time I had a 2006 escape v6 4x4 too... arangkada? ...parang wala nga ako maramdaman na "hataw" or "sibat" gaya ng inaasahan ko sa 3.0... parang nag-oover rev lang sya kapag biglang diin sa gas pedal... ganon ba talaga?

anyways, for the FC, sta.rosa laguna to san fernando la union = ave 12 km/l...
city driving, valenzuela to alabang = 5 km/l...

Hi! We are planning to buy new service vehicle. I will be the one frequently using the vehicle and one of the considerations in buying vehicle is my height. I stand 4'11" that is why car is not an option. Whenever I am inside the car, I feel like i am very small and that huge trucks will bump into me. Another is that I don't see the car's bumper and I feel like I am not good in estimating distance/clearance.

I am also considering the cost, fuel consumption and maintenance. After browsing the internet, we are undecided between Ford Ecosport 1.5 Ambiente or Trend and Toyota Avanza. What I like most in Avanza is that it can carry more passengers compared to ecosport but ecosport is more appealing to me in terms of exterior appearance and also the safety features. I am also considering the fuel consumption and maintenance since ford has the "high maintenance image".

Thank you so much for your help.

Is there a big difference in fuel economy of the crossovers or suvs from ford? Talking about escape, everest and explorer.

It's indicated in the Ford Escape manual. Before having the 1st PMS, I got an average of 4-5 kms per Liter only. Now I have atleast 5-6.5 kms per liter on city driving.

My 2009 Ford Focus Trend 1.8 MT (already at 5,000+ odometer reading) is consuming between:

    1) City driving: 9.7 km/liter to 10.7 km/liter normally running between 80kph to 130kph
    2) Highway driving: 13.7km/liter-15km/liter running between 100kph to 180kph (SCTEX)

To attain an optimize the fuel consumption (from Ford manual), you should be running between 1,500 rpm to 2,500 rpm.

They are advertising that Ford Focus can attain 16.7km/liter. I think this is attainable if you will fully maintain a speed of 80kph-90kph without aircon, hehehe
