August 11th, 2017 10:41 PM #4Same here, unfortunately. 5-6 km/L for the last 250kms, 70-80% city driving, medium-heavy traffic. Grabe talo pa ang heavy SUVs sa consumption wew.
Pero pag highway and 60kph and up ang speed, umaabot naman ng 7-8L/100km, roughly 14 km/L, doon sa trip meter, not sure if it's pretty accurate.
Got the car 2nd hand but I also recently had change oil (fully synthetic) and replaced all spark plugs (OEM).
Baka ipacheck ko na sa Casa (iniiwasan ko ito kasi taga sila hehe) if di pa magimprove sa next full tank..

for the first 5,000 kms you'll never get an accurate computation of your fuel mileage..wait after the first chang-oil to do so.
wombat..your figures will definitely improve, just be sure you don't wreck your engine on its break-in period.
If we're talking about parts setting in, there's always a chance that fuel economy would worsen as much as it'll improveEither way, the difference is hardlu felt.

that's what I'm thinking since it's still in the breaking-in period,
baka mas malakas consumption. hopefully mag-improve.
mas matipid pa ung 2.8 pajero ko nasa 6-7km/li. city. Ung 2.0 mit adv. M/T namin nag average ako 7-7.5 km/li even during break-in
guys, would K&n filter/grounding kits improve fuel economy? thanks
