For those who are interested in FORScan and how other Ford model owners were able to make changes to some features of their units, please see link below. Hoping we can have similar sharing of information on how we can utilize FORScan to fully utilize features of our Everest.

I have limited time to tinker so far with the software but I was able to modify the timeout of the power supply on my 12V cigarette lighter, a common complain of owners who use the outlet as power source for gadgets.

FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck - Page 22 - Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans

The default HEX value of most units is 1194 in the first block of the address in the link above. This is the same with the Everest, meaning the timeout is around 1 hour and 15mins. I changed mine to 0005 for a 5-second delay before power is lost. Note that the countdown starts once you open the driver's door after turning off the engine.

Please refer to the table given in the link above to set your own desired timeout. It should be simple enough to understand.

I was also able to make this modification to my DRL, but I reverted to original settings as I want the default setting of my DRL.

This is also helpful for those who want to disable their DRLs.

    I initially bought this adapter...

ELM327 WiFi OBD2 Car Diagnostics Scanner Code Reader for iPhone iOS
AND Android - Intl | Lazada PH

Bad decision. While it is cheap and works with my android phone, this doesn't work with FORScan. It will give you a "bad clone message" and you can't connect to your vehicle.

There are still some cheap options that can be found online like this one...

ELM327 OBD2 USB Modified Switch Forscan Elmconfig Ford Focus Mondeo Mazda | eBay

They should work perfectly but I cannot confirm since I did not buy one.

I bought an adapter which is a bit pricey but contains the original ELM chipset.

elm327, elm 327, originl elm327, original elm electronics, obd2 usb, elm327 usb original elm 327

Works flawlessly and can access all modules on the Everest. It's not cheap and took 3 weeks to arrive, but if you do enough looking around, you can find an adapter that is cheaper and should work as well as the one I bought. I suggest you try the one available on eBay.

How do | Adjust automatic headlight sensitivity | everest

    I‘m Chinese guy.

    My car:ford everest ecoboost 2.0T 2107

I want to adjust automatic headlight sensitivity.

China has a lot of tunnels, each time into the tunnel, the automatic headlamps open time is too slow.

Is there a way to adjust the opening faster?

i don't think it's possible to modify in Forscan, at least for now.

For trend version. From thailand ford everest forum. Bugzilla

    IPC (Offroad Gauge) - 720-07-02 - from 0004 to 0204

Sa kanila na enable nila yung drl control sa ipc/dashboard. Pero parang sa titanium lang nag work.

Nice find bro *ferrarifan. I think *janemar is also working on the remote start. Kailangan kaya ng remote start module?

Remote start is a very big question mark. Although there is an option to enable it easily in IPC module, and I've tried enabling it, it doesn't really do anything different. I've read somewhere that you need additional hardware for remote start to function.

The thing is for Titanium Premium owners, there is very limited modifications that can be made since almost all the bells and whistles are already included, except probably for some hidden functions/displays like oil life, engine temp, etc that takes trial and error to be discovered. Having said that, owners of non-premium models can unleash these features and make their units premium-like.

It will also be much appreciated for people who already made the effort of getting results from their own experimentation to share here the HEX modifications they made thru FORScan, just like in other forums abroad, to prevent redundant work. One can simply post the numbers here and it can be easily implemented thru FORScan by other members.

Additional hacks were done with my 2.2 Titanium Premium.

    IPC (Trailer Sway) - 720-03-02 - from CC0E 00 to CC4E 00

    IPC (Adblue Status) - 720-05-01 - from C068 0202 to E078 0306

    IPC (Navigation) - 720-06-01 - from 0000 064A to 0000 0652

    IPC (Offroad Gauge) - 720-07-02 - from 0104 00 to 0364 00

The Adblue is indicator only since Adblue is not included in PH models of the Everest. Trailer sway does not kick in unless you have something in tow. Navigation shows compass only, but can be viewed in the dash aside from the Sync2 screen. Offroad gauge works perfectly.

not sure about that. haven't yet tried actually using it. although logically if the car can do parallel park, perpendicular park shouldn't be much different in terms of hardware requirement. i may be wrong though.

For example the Trailer Sway option and the Perpendicular park assist option.

    Thanks!
