    city driving - 5-6 km/L
    hiway driving - 7-8 km/L

But I now manage to make a 6.5 km/L on city driving..A manual transmission will do better by 1-2 km/L.

So, is it economical sir? can we compare it to the 3.0L Ford Ranger?

Ako after 3full tanks i averaged 4.7km/liter city driving XLS A/T ung sa akin just passed 1000kms sa odometer ko.

Will my mileage improve? What else can I do to achieve at least 6-7 kms/liter city driving. Need some inputs guys. Thanks

13km/L hiway.

for the first 5,000 kms you'll never get an accurate computation of your fuel mileage..wait after the first chang-oil to do so.

wombat..your figures will definitely improve, just be sure you don't wreck your engine on its break-in period.

2012 Fiesta S 5.5 KM/L. Purely city driving Makati - San Juan. Parang ang lakas sa gas.

    ODO = 15000. Only carrying 1-2 passengers.

Same here, unfortunately. 5-6 km/L for the last 250kms, 70-80% city driving, medium-heavy traffic. Grabe talo pa ang heavy SUVs sa consumption wew.
Pero pag highway and 60kph and up ang speed, umaabot naman ng 7-8L/100km, roughly 14 km/L, doon sa trip meter, not sure if it's pretty accurate.

Got the car 2nd hand but I also recently had change oil (fully synthetic) and replaced all spark plugs (OEM).
Baka ipacheck ko na sa Casa (iniiwasan ko ito kasi taga sila hehe) if di pa magimprove sa next full tank..

After spending Holy Week in Bicol province, our Ecosport averaged 15km/l (60% highway 40%city-heavy traffic).

Care to expound on this? From personal experience, what you get is what you get.

If we're talking about parts setting in, there's always a chance that fuel economy would worsen as much as it'll improve Either way, the difference is hardlu felt.

    pepeng tom, kiper

that's what I'm thinking since it's still in the breaking-in period,
baka mas malakas consumption. hopefully mag-improve.

mas matipid pa ung 2.8 pajero ko nasa 6-7km/li. city. Ung 2.0 mit adv. M/T namin nag average ako 7-7.5 km/li even during break-in

guys, would K&n filter/grounding kits improve fuel economy? thanks

wombat, it should pero max na siguro 0.5km/L ang improvement.
