August 29th, 2012 05:44 PM #1Well, the most pertinent question is: bakit ang bilis ma contact ang sales ng mga Ford dealers, pero walang sumasagot sa Service? Hyuk, hyuk.
Anyway, I have a few questions sa PMS, since this is my first car, I'd just like to gather reader experiences as well as tips on my 20,000 PMS:
- is it normal na provided ng dealer yung oil? they're providing semi-synthetic Shell branded oil of unspecified type (within specs ng recommended oil, of course), but they're not allowing me the option of bringing my own motor oil. This is sa Ford Libis. Okay lang ba yung casa option? I don't really have much experience when it comes to choosing yung type ng oil, but I figure having that option would be nice in the first place. They're charging 6,000 (initial estimate) for the whole she-bang, semi synthetic oil included
- I asked around and apparently, the oil filter is not available outside the dealer. Is it normal to want to do the PMS outside the casa? I know that conventional thinking dictates that casa serviced cars are preferred over the DIY route, but given my default distrust of services provided by institutions, I'd like to think that I at least would have that option of doing it myself (or via outside service providers)
Actually, that's most of my points compressed into two, but if you find it's tl;dr (too long;didn't read), here's the compressed version:
- okay lang ba mag dala ng sariling oil sa casa on your pms, may nakagawa na ba nito? ayaw kasi sa ford libis
- okay lang ba mag diy/outside casa pms? if so, does it affect resale value ng car? if hindi, saan kaya okay mag pa pms?
^ napanood konnga iyan kanina Kasi biglang bumulaga sa timeline ko. Unfortunately, I made it only...
Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
