We looked for other dealers with available units. Good thinf Ford Makati had an available Meteor Gray Titanium (not premium). Happy Everest owner since last Saturday, April 22. Nakahabol pa before the price increase!

Today was my first full day/date with Eevee.

Changed stock antenna w/ shark fin kasi sumabit agad sa mall yesterday

Had a spare tire lock installed

Black liner matting at CJAO, nasama pa yung 2 freebie na payong
    Attachment 34956

Then finally, nano-ceramic coating at Big Bert's

Also, thankfully got Android Auto to work agad. Super galing ng Sync 3. Sana makaipon ulit for another round of upgrades
Congrats Sir! Pareho birthday ng Eve natin. April 22. I envy you because you've done a lot already. Yung akin nakatambay lang sa garahe since Sunday. Takot sa penalty pag nahuli. hehe.

    Initial observations (worth 30kms only):

    1. Minimal turbo lag but there is also a slight hint of deceleration lag (residual acceleration when you let go of the gas pedal)
    2. Noise cancellation really works. It has a soothing effect. It also highlights the good sounding 10 speaker audio system.
    3. Ride is a lot better than the previous gen Montero (both on 20" rims). It feels smoother and pacified.
    4. Seat comfort ok. Effective lumbar support. Wide center console
    5. Safety features (chimes, alerts, and rear camera) are good add-ons. Takes time to get used to if you came from an SUV without these features like me. Especially the red glaring HUD for the pre-collision assist. I see the value of these.
    6. Aircon recirculation is turned OFF by default. Normally turned ON in other cars. Just need to get used to switching it ON every time I restart the engine.
    7. SYNC 3 is so cool. Android Auto easy to connect.

I'm sure there are more things I'll learn and see as I use this. So far, one very happy new owner here.

Thanks, and congrats to you also!

Yung front sensors, hassle minsan during stop and go traffic. Even when stopped, laging may alarm everytime may dadaan na motorcycle. I think dahil sa buga ng usok from the motorcycle, "tumatama" sa sensor. I wonder if there's a way to adjust the sensitivity.

Bro you can set the default Aircon Recirculation to ON by just long pressing the button from the screen.

Banawe. 1300 only. Search for Metro Mariwasa in Waze. They lowered the spare tire first, attached the base of the spare tire lock (no drilling involved), angat ulit spare tire, then placed the head of the lock.

This is what the base looks like without the lock.

A friend of mine ordered the new fort and kakadeliver lang dito sa office. Kausap ko yun nagdeliver and every 3mos pms niya. So confirmed na 4x/yr ang pms ng new fort compared sa 2x/yr ng eve. Tapos lahat ng posts ng Ford sa fb bugbog sa comments ng mga haters na sobrang mahal daw ng pms ni ford. Hehehe. Not sure sa monty kung how many times per year pms niya.

For both Fort and Monty, top up lang yata ng oil every 5k, then change oil every 10k, if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure. Pero yun SA kanina ayaw pa umamin na 4x/yr. He's insisting the 5K interval. Hahaha. Sabi ko what if 2K pa lang odo need ba ipms on the 3rd month umamin din. Abala din kasi yan aside sa gastos. 😁

Twice a year reasonable maintenance interval. Ang iba nga once a year nalang.
