I see. Have a scheduled test drive on Saturday will find out soon enough the power difference.

Test drove the new montero and it seems ok but the interior space is a let down. The eve has biggest room inside compared to the montero and the fortuner. Seats are also comfortable so definitely will be getting the eve.

I'm also curious as to what this wire is. Madalas kasi maglaro sa ilalim ng kotse mga aso namin. They can easily bite this off.

Btw, I am having my first/10k pms right now. Nag recall daw Ford Phils para sa may mga auto leveling motor for their headlights. Mine works fine but they replaced it anyway.

nobody knows for sure, but it could be related to the brake system, probably used for the wheel speed sensors of ABS.

Google "Android auto apk" then download in your phone and install. It's not available in the Play Store Philippines. Then plug and play na lang, the Eve will auto-detect your phone once it's plugged in.

Another question mga paps.. regarding the automatic feature of the headlights for our premium eve, do you leave it on the automatic mode kahit na pag baba na ng sasakyan? I mean, do you turn it off before going down the vehicle? Na sanay kasi ako sa old school headlights.. "turn on pag gabi na, then off pag pababa na"

Kung naka auto ko, no need to turn off, mag auto ON and OFF yan depende na nasense nyang shade, kung makulimlim, mag auto ON yan kahit pag pasok mo ng indoor parking kagandahan lang nyan, less masisira ung light switch mo..

Ah.. so you just leave it na naka auto the whole time, no need to turn the knob to off pag baba ng sasakyan.. got it! Salamat sa feedback paps! How about the others, ganun din kayo?

not me. old school kasi ako. i decide when i want to turn on/off my headlights. kung naka auto kasi mas madalas sya mag on/off, which might lower the lifespan of the lamps.

most of the time kasi enough na din yung light from the DRL to illuminate some dark places like parking space, etc. lalo na kung Titanium+ variant mo.

Still better to turn it off ... for example, in dark basement parking areas ... the headlight would turn off before you start the engine ... this puts unnecessary load on the battery while starting the engine ...

I leave my auto-headlamps and rain-sensing wipers on at all times. Set and forget as they say. Otherwise what's the point of automatic everything if I have to keep on fiddling with the switches anyway.

This is with HID headlamps on a 13 year-old car, but no problems with my alternator or battery.

Light switches are durable and not that much used compared to signal light levers ... have not encountered any privately driven vehicle that has a broken light switch ...

I turn off the lights just to be safe ... just in case the sensor goes haywire ... one never knows with these electrical gremlins ...

Before naka auto ako, pero madalas naman day time byahe ko kaya off ko na sya, but kung whole day ka sa daan plus night, auto is way to go..
