I tried calling my SA again sir Yebo at ford balintawak. Sabi lang nya titignan daw nila pag dating ng unit kung ano ang spare tire na kasama. Badtrip nga pero super excited nako for my unit.

Hello sirs. I just want a 2nd opinion. I just talked to my SA now. My unit was supposed to be released this week but according to my SA, hinold daw ng Ford Philippines ang distribution to wait for the price increase this May. Is this true? Sobra na kaming frustrated due to delayed release plus ngayon May price increase pa. I would really appreciate to hear your comments and opinions regarding this matter. Tha k you in advance.

It should be the price when you reserved the unit will be honored despite (if there is) the price increase, because price is one of the considerations when you chose to get the everest, tingin wala lang silang stock nung particular na gusto mo, baka sabi lang nila yan, wag mo lang iparamdam sa kanila na atat ka, yayariin ka ng dealer/SA mo..

I tried reasoning with that already sir pero they were saying that it is not the casa daw that controls the prices but the plant itself. I also tried calling 3 different casas to double check this matter. Ford Davao, Makati and Balintawak where I will be getting my unit sana. Unfortunately, all of them are saying different reasons but bottom line is that all of them won't be able to release any units, either trend or titanium+ units.

No it's not. Ganyan talaga yan pag naabutan ng price increase. Happened to my friends too.

Totoo naman na new prices na yung ibibigay ng planta sa dealership. I would rather lose you as a customer and sell my one unit to someone else willing to pay a higher price.

Hindi desperado ang Ford magbenta ng Everest, maraming naghahanap niyan. So they don't have to sell it to you at a price that will hurt their margins.

Thank you for the comments sirs. Badtrip lang tlga kasi we were already expecting the unit this month. Very unfortunate for the price increase but it's mostly the delay that frustrates us.

Ang alam ko nga sir ngayon April na effective yun price increase na yan. My initial plan was to buy mga 3rd quarter ng taon, pero nun nabalitaan ko na may price increase, kumuha na din ako nun March. I got my trend last 03/30, mga 2 weeks din ako naghintay ng unit ko after ko ma approve sa bank. I think madami talaga ang kumukuha ng Everest compare sa iba SUV sa segment.

Supposedly, all Everest variants will have price increase starting this April. Pero natuloy lang yung increase for Ambiente. Now, they're saying na magkaka-price increase for Trend and Titanium this May. Not sure lang how true, baka kasi natatakot lang.

The Everest and MUX are tied for 2nd place in the PPV race. Fortuner leads by a wide margin. The Montero is a pretty distant 4th.

This is based on actual sales figures and not just what I see on the road.

My advice for cases like this is to have a written agreement on the price when you put down your reservation. Para matakot yung ahente and manager niya if nagcommit sila ng hindi nila kayang ibigay.

I was already set on getting the Titanium+ last month. SA was not able to deliver on her promise of a unit arriving within 2 weeks of payment of reservation fee. Strongly considered getting the Montero/Fort. After test-driving and closely inspecting the interior, we decided to go back to our original choice - the Everest.

We looked for other dealers with available units. Good thinf Ford Makati had an available Meteor Gray Titanium (not premium). Happy Everest owner since last Saturday, April 22. Nakahabol pa before the price increase!

Today was my first full day/date with Eevee.

Changed stock antenna w/ shark fin kasi sumabit agad sa mall yesterday


Had a spare tire lock installed


Black liner matting at CJAO, nasama pa yung 2 freebie na payong


Then finally, nano-ceramic coating at Big Bert's


Also, thankfully got Android Auto to work agad. Super galing ng Sync 3. Sana makaipon ulit for another round of upgrades
