anyways, since you have the 3.2, how is the fuel consumption sir?
Stop and go, and short dist travel (at most 3kms) ave of 7.6-7.9 kpl, at hway, depende na po sa takbo.. *100kph ave of 12.6-12.9 kpl, at 130 and above, 10.6-11.5 kpl.. di po pare pareho, then depende pa po sa tapak ko sa gas.. satisfied ako compared sa fj cruiser ko.. laking ginhawa. Hehehe

Just arrived from a weekend getaway w our Titanium 4x2.

    Distance traveled: 105kms per way
    Carried: 7adults 1kid luggages for 2days

    From Alabang-Anilao-Alabang

Stuck lang in traffic for 30mins sa San Pascual-Bauan area

FC consumed is 1/4 gauge driving at 100-120kph

Some notes ,fun to drive, super gaan ang steering wheel, can handle inclined steep roads (40/50degrees inclination)

Bitin ka pag from stop and go...need mo mag manual drive to maximize each gear

Pag nakaarangkada na no problem sa hatak.

Used the manual mode esp pag zigzags much better response vs automatic drive

thank you for the input sir. I think 90% of the time city driving lang for me. the traffic in Cebu is now getting worse & worse so i'm expecting to be stuck in traffic most of the time that's why i'm looking at the fuel consumption on city driving.

part of me is telling na trend nalang ang kunin ko when I get back sa pinas but my wife really likes to have sun-roof on, not sure exactly why. I told her there's no reason for us to have sun-roof kasi matindi ang humidity sa pinas. it's not like pwede buksan ang sun-roof during autumn or spring.

Tingin ko mas maganda tunog ng ulan pag may sunroof. Nung umulan last week na malalaki yung patak parang tunog manipis na lata yung bubong ng everest ang ingay lol

eto bossing baka gusto mo ng tv sa eve mo. yung isdb-t tv receiver gotv wifi (upper left hand corner ng hu screen, cost P1900) with samsung note8, para pwede ka manuod ng tv. note8 is mounted on a magnetic cd slot mount. pwede din yan sa ipad. sound is either on the pad or via the hu using bluetooth.

    For 4x2;
    2.2L titanium, 1.699.
    2.2L titanium plus is 1.799.

    For 4x4:
    3.2L titanium is 1.899
    3.2L titanium plus is 1.999

As far as i know, wala pong 2.2L na 4x4,

    Correction,

    3.2 Titanium 4x4 is 1.949M now
    3.2 Titanium Premium 4x4 is 2.049M now

Ford Philippines website made a typo error for the 2.2 Titanium and Titanium Premium. It should be 4x2 not 4x4

Sir any news why the price increased?
Pros for those who bought early parang discounted congrats!
Despite the price increase, Fortuner is still the most expensive in its class P2,120,000 for 4x4 2.8V

I think it was introductory price. They still have fair pricing imo. Ford Everest range is so suited for all buyers. Hopefully they increase their supply. They would lead the segment in sales.

Typo error pala. Lagot din yun ibang sales agent na nagpopost ng 2.2L Titanium na 4x4 daw. Eto yung snapshot ng pricelist from Ford Phils website.

Been trying to convince the misus to look at eve again over the Innova (weird comparo I know) pero I have to ask Kung wala bang compelling reason to get an ambiente over the trend? Sa entry levels the Ambiente is sulit with safety features and I fear having too many gadgets will be headaches pag nasira. Pero at 150k more, sobrang worth it yung extra airbags for a family vehicle Diba?

150K is worth it pag safety ng pamilya mo ang pinag uusapan.

Go with the Trend variant. Having been in an accident before (different vehicle) and came out without a scratch, the airbags are sure lifesavers. It's worth the 150k diff plus you get a lot more for that besides the airbags.

Go with the Trend. As I've said before, this is the most sulit variant of the Eve. It doesn't shortchange you on safety features, among other things, and the price is really nice if you're not into all the bells and whistles of the TOTL models.

    *coydeleon,

go for the trend sir. for me trend is more than enough na but misis ko gusto ng sun-roof for some reason I don't really understand but i'll try to convince her to go with trend.

I hope the price won't keep increasing lang sana by the time paguwi namin sa pinas. based on what I've read so far, the Everest really can hold it's ground against the prado which is why i'm really in love with the trend considering that it's barely half the price of a prado.
