    Another stupid policy by Ford libis, they have a new policy that they will not release the unit that was repaired until the insurance has released the cheque.

    I called ford phillipines, they are also useless.

    Don't ever bring your car for service in ford libis. Lausgroup another policynto woo customers away.

    Isn’t this the standard now? Subaru also wouldn’t release my car until the cheque from the insurance was delivered.

    Tuso kasi insurance companies ngayon. Dinedelay nila yung cheque payouts for weeks and months.

    I think the dealers should not use our cars as guarantee against the insurance.

    Tayo naiipit sa inefficiencies ng mga businesses.

    As per my service advisor, this is a new policy.

    I already filed a complaint to dti.

    If you look at it from the dealer's point of view ... it's your car that you brought in for repair / service ... so technically you are the one who's supposed to pay for the service ... sure you have insurance but it's not really the dealer's job to follow up with the insurance ... better to just get an insurance provider with good service next time ...

    I would encouraged people to file complaints to DTI if they feel they are being duped by dealers.
