Good morning everyone! When my wife and I went to Ford Cainta to check out the Ecosport on display last Sunday, the girl SA said that the New (Refreshed one) will be released August. When I asked for specs, the only she can confirm is the 1.0 (with Turbo) engine. I can't confirm though because I haven't seen any updates from Topgear PH, Autoindustriya, Autodeal or Carguide. (They usually post something in their respective websites).

Hopefully the Turbo won't have issues, together with its tranny

plenty. just google it. some of the issues may have been fixed already but it's still a turbo w/ direct-injection, more complication than i care for

btw i own an ecosport. the 1.5L non-turbo 4-cylinder is just fine for everyday driving. HOWEVER the facelift uses the new 3-cylinder engine which is fairly new so it definitely will have some teething problems, we just don't know yet how serious they are

but between the 1.0 ecoboost and the 3cyl 1.5 i'd go w/ the 1.5. the 1.5 is already being used in india. so just read the indian tsikot.com for feedback on the new engine
