Chances are it would be gasoline. The TDCi version came with manual tranny and only switched to DSG Auto this year.

if this were an ad, the description is really enticing. CASA maintained, CASA painted... etc.. first three years naman talaga are CASA maintained and the CASA paints do not equate to a good job. Mentioned Rims are still Ford OEM and these hatches look nice in chrome Concept Ones IMHO..
but if you really break down, it's still a pre-owned car which is 4 turning 5 years old.. low Odo reading is nice plus, but still, if i were to spend 700K, i'd widen my options and get me a less than one year old Civic FD or Altis, or brand new cars (City/Vios/Lancer/Sentra)even.
a relative has a TDCi 2.0 Focus consumes 7/8 pure city driving. but given the price of diesel, they're very happy with it; not to mention the torque and speed that it brings. only downside is the space. it's a bit too cramped up for me on the inside.
GH is correct, given it's release date, more likely this is gasoline, which means it can get pretty high on fuel costs.Last edited by badbadtz.carlo; July 26th, 2009 at 12:49 PM.

Gusto rin namin yung unit nayan. kaso bumigay yung 4jx1 namin. sayang.
Yes that would be a gasoline and a sure eye catcher.

Wow! 3,000 kms ONLY? I hope that thing hasn't been left parked for a long time.
The best thing to do is go see it and test drive it.
Normally P698K for this kind of model is expensive (these models costs around P600K now) but its been "casa" modified(?), and those original 18 inch Ford wheels and tires alone costs around P100K+ already, so I guess the price isn't too high, try to negotiate a bit.
Its a late 2005 model, so thats a 2.0 gasoline engine, TDCi models were launched in 2007.
And yes, according to Ford, 1.8 & 2.0 gasoline models are E20 capable (since they were launched here in 2005).
The TDCi model was launched here in 2007 with a 6-speed manual.
The facelifted 2009 model was launched here late 2008, this is the TDCi model that came with the Powershift dual clutch transmission.Last edited by AG4; July 26th, 2009 at 01:27 PM.

The specs are fine but nothing special.
QUESTION nO. 2
P 698,000 slightly negotiable
Q. PATULAN KO NBA TO???
Why?
It's a four year old car. Buying it at 700K will place you at an instant 200K disadvantage against buying the same model car from the used car market.
There are ads that are selling 2006-2007 Focus 2.0L hatchback for 540k to 580K. And that is still before negotiations.

3,000 kilometers only, too low for a 4 year old car.
With 3k on the odo, it means that the owner is just travelling 62.5km per month
Hope it wasnt tampered.
