Ito ang specs ng 3 key variants from the website of Ford Philippines

    2023-ford-everest-specifications-phils-9jul2022-.jpg

Disappointing ang specs ng Titanium+ 4x2 model.

Ford find it hard to compete with the Fortuner Q variant

Looks like its going to be the New Generation Ford Everest Titanium 4x2 slugging it out with the Toyota Fortuner Q in that price range.

IMHO, I could sum up the difference as:

    1. Fortuner Q is driver-centric with all the driver assist technology and HP
    2. Everest Titanium 4x2 is passenger-centric with more comfort, better NVH, more space, better leather material and finish, more refined ride.

Fortuner is also cheaper than the Everest, for now.

So far looks like it applies to all new models with the single turbo 2.0 diesel (Ranger and Everest) even in other markets.

How confident are you guys with the quality of this new Everest given Ford's historical quality issues with their vehicles?

Yung previous Everest gen, how's the quality?

They easily recover that cost by forcing everyone to have their cars serviced only at CASA for an additional two years. Mahal ng service sa Ford!

May Ford Island Conquest sa Arcovia Open City from today hanggang Sunday for this new model. May test drive. This information was forwarded to me by my brother who is interested to get one. We might go there on Sunday.

Everest 2016 owner here. I got the 3.2 4WD, no major problem. I love driving it to Bicol every now and then. Pretty much solid. Not sure of the new engine models (bi-turbo). I am thankful I have not experienced the problems that many people say about Ford. I also owned a 2017 Ford Explorer in UAE, I love how it drives and the quickness on the highway.

Sagwa ng harap, hindi bagay sa isang suv. Sana ginaya na lang yung expedition or front end ng amarok.
