    The 3.5L Ecoboost model may most likely be brought back as it shares the same engine as the previous gen Sport model and the F150 and Expedition.

    Ford did not use the 3.5L anymore on the 6th gen. They replaced it with a smaller 3.0L derived from the 3.5L.

    Although the 10 speed automatic is shared with the F150, Expedition, Everest, Ranger.
