Ito inaabangan namin for our next familycar.

The time to buy is now. Next gen suvs are trending to start at 1.5m to 1.9m, thanks to the Santa Fe

sta fe is priced in that way since they don't have any tax break.

1.5-1.8 seems plausible, remember as we slowly creep to the future technology keeps getting cheaper and easier to manufacture- during the olden age only the most high end luxury cars are equipped with abs now that seems normal nowadays. from big vacuum flask cpu to micro processor to big bulky mobile phones to pencil thin smart phone.

isuzu pricing their vehicles at a higher premium due to a newer engine?- nah- they just used the old engine so they could profit more- if i remember correctly those new mux was first introduced in the provinces to cater for them. if chevy can bring their new engine isuzu can to without the premium cost. more of a marketing strategy for isuzu.

the thing that would really bother me is... if the engine or turbo or any essential part of the vehicle gets bogged down regardless of make. hence to those who wants to buy such vehicle be a test mule.

isuzu has the highest rating for reliability here- they were only outperformed by toyota since their model line up sucks and their service crew are not that nice(old)

ford- the former ranger pinatubo ranger seems reliable- but what the heck happened?

chevy- is more reliable than ford in the u.s. but not here beginning with the former franchiser who left a lot of kdm optra broken even refusing normal warranty, only time will tell for the new franchiser operator.

for what its worth the new everest will be somewhat of a dreadnought a standard that each manufacturer in the segment must follow or surpass

Spoke with an agent last MIAS.. lots of reservations getting cancelled due to pricing. 1.9m and 2.2m. He said they didn't let the public see the interior since it still might change due to the consumers' initial reaction

Wala din BS about DI, colors and waiting period ng unit.

Spotted the all new Ford Everest around mid afternoon passing through the Bucal by-pass road in Laguna the past few days.

    Naka DRL pala ito

Looks nice in front but not too fond of the rear lamps
