Ah I see, thanks sa info dun sa PMS. Before ko dinala yung truck ok naman siya as far as I know. And yes, again as far as I know dun "siguro" nasira yung turbo. What they did is press the pedal at high rpms for a while. After that they run some test sa laptop and they told me it's recommended for replacement na. And when I went to check my truck, ayun nga I heard again the high pitch noise coming from the turbo. My guess is the high rpm did the trigger the turbo problem.
Kung nasira yung turbo just because you repetitively revved the engine, then that's not a very durable turbo...
Anu po bang part ng turbo ang sira sir? Blades turbine/blower side or vanes or cooling failure? Watercooled pa naman ito. Planning to get 3.2 also kse.salamat po
I have a 2012 T6 (first batch) 2.2 XLT A/T. I'm already well aware of the power-train error and I have experienced it first hand with my unit. I even had a big tear on my turbo hose but that problem has been taken care of. Ford placed it under warranty and ordered a new hose for me from Thailand which arrived 2 weeks later. Their temporary fix for this issue was to wrap the turbo hose with masking tape. As expected, the tape failed due to the heat flowing in the hose; it didn't even last 1 day. I had to get their permission to have it fixed myself. I had it sealed with rubber and super glue which was actually a pretty good way of fixing it temporarily until my replacement hose arrived.
Flash forward two months later. While driving to the mountains, my unit just stalled. No errors on the dashboard. Since I was actually going uphill, my unit wouldn't accelerate past 30 km/h. I tried turning the engine off for 5 minutes and starting it back again but there was no improvement. We couldn't find anything wrong under the hood as well. We ended up hitching a ride with the other group that we were with. On the way back, I tried starting it and it actually worked as if nothing had happened. I already reported this to Ford and they claimed that they haven't had any feedback regarding this issue. I haven't encountered this problem since.
What really concerns me though is that my unit is starting to act up once I rev it up. I keep hearing an unfamiliar sound, sort of like sucking in air, once my tachometer rises to 2k rpm. It doesn't happen every time but it does happen frequently enough that it becomes noticeable. I was planning on having it checked after the holidays since I can't afford not to have a car at the moment.
I'm really interested on what your thoughts are regarding this and whether I should wait it out or have it serviced right away.
Mahirap nga sa pasko sir walang sasakyan. Baka EGR nyo sir barado na. But pa check nyo yan if may time.
These kinds of problems on new Ford vehicles really suck. Here you are buying a new vehicle with hard earned cash expecting the same to operate and perform as expected then all of a sudden boom! problems all over. Is Ford even aware of what's REALLY happening to their vehicles? You buy a vehicle from the Japanese and Korean car companies and the vehicle performs well and you would not hear much complaints about it unlike Ford. These type of situations all the more increase your fear and doubt if ever you want to buy a car from them. Ford should start shaping up otherwise they will lose in the car wars big time!

Nearing 30k kms. I first encountered the power-train error at somewhere around 22k kms. The tech thought that it might be due to a dirty air filter so we had that replaced and we did the same with the fuel filter. After a few weeks, the turbo hose tore.
I'm still experiencing that weird sound every now and then.
