Sa 1st picture may rust. Did you do something about the rust first before putting the primer paint?

yep before applying anything, prepare a piece of cloth for cleaning rust debris and remove as much as possible rust using a sand paper...

I bought it on Ace hardware, SM north edsa. I think it will not void any warranty, it is just a paint, no performance or electric stuff done here.

Goodpm fiesta gurus. I just managed to convince my mom pa lang to replace our aging suzuki swift and im eyeing on the ford fiesta 1.4L Hatchback (trend ba yun or style?). I just wanna ask you guys what are the pros and cons with this car. I definitely love the looks of this car inside out. And one more thing, the instrument screen thingy in the middle of the dash, ano difference niya sa fiesta sport? Thanks in advance and hopefully i will become a fiesta owner soon!

The 1.4L hatchback is the Trend. Style is a sedan only trim...

The Fiesta Sport and the 1.6L Trend has a higher resolution screen... It also shows some images like warnings...






The 1.4L Style and Trend screen is lower resolution and while it also gives warnings it does not show images...

I'm not familiar with the Swift so I can't compare. Medyo mabagal hatak nya sa first 2 gears especially when starting with a cold engine - pang easy driving lang talaga. Anyway, I assume you'll test drive first so you'll be able to judge by yourself.

You could try but I don't think its FREE... even a simple mudguard installation may bayad... hehehe

Since the last 2days, i was stepping light on gas. Then today napansin ko parang nagbago ang hatak ng gas pedal ko. Kahit anung tapak ko, eh light p rin ang parang tapak sa gas. Eh manual naman gamit ko. Ganito yung feeling ko dati nung bago yung car ko, na sabi ko hindi mahina ang hatak ng 3rd gear. Ako lang ba naprapraning.

Nope. It has to be done before you start the engine...

Haha. Mali pala post ko.. I mean "yung 3rd gear is mahina ang hatak", same nung bago pa yung car ko. I will observe again for the next 2 days, tapos try ko aggresive driving ulit, para mag check kung may magbabago ulit. Wala ba naka observe sa inyo ng ganito sa manual version?

Hatchback cars don't have trunk releases by nature unlike sedan (but I understand the FoFi sedan also does not have one). You open them from the outside. As hausteam mentioned you can use your keyfob to remotely open the back...

Then open it from the outside... If you car is unlocked the hatch door is also unlocked. Kaya nga its called FIVE DOOR. Kasi its considered a door and unlocks at the same time with the other doors...
