Dami mapagpilian sa S&R, depende na sa budget mo.
Whisky is made from grains. Depende na lang kung saan country of origin. Best whiskies are of the single malt kind - Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Macallan, Yamasaki, etc. Be ready to spend more for Single Malt whiskies, easily 2k to 10k per bottle or even more.
Vodka is made from wheat or rye or potatoes depending on the country of origin. I prefer those vodka from Russia.
Rum is made from sugarcane. Marami brands galing sa Caribbean islands - Bacardi or Malibu or Captain Morgan. Kung gusto mo ng good local rum, then buy Don Papa.
Gin is made usually from grains with a distinctive additive like juniper berries or other fruits. There is a lot of brands to choose from. There’s the classic London Dry gin of Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire. You can also go with craft gins like Botanist, Hendricks, Aviation, or Roku.
Tequila is a spirit from Mexico made from the blue agave plant (a type of cactus). Jose Cuervo and Patron are the popular brand for Tequilas. There is also the Mezcal which is a different type of spirit from the agave plant which has a more smoky flavor to it. Mezcal is not easy to find locally but for me, they taste much better than Tequila.
Brandy is made from grapes. They usually ferment white wine to be stronger and thus become brandy. Spanish and French yung mga popular brandy. However, the brandy from the Cognac region of France is called a Cognac - Hennessy, Remy Martin, Martell, etc.
