I enjoyed mendokoro, ippudo and nagi in that order. I also had enjoyed less expensive ones ~200-300php in local shops here in bataan

Dati Ippudo over Mendokoro ako, but my tastes changed for some reason nitong pandemic. Mendokoro na #1 ko now, same rank as you.

    Tantanmen + Chashu FTW!

    Mendokoro/Yushoken is the best locally

My friend called it “lechon ramen” lol

The line (pre-pandemic) is atrocious though

kapag mendokoro pinintasan pa ni kags, ewan ko na lang, though malabo niya matikman because I think the branches are only in Alabang, Makati and BGC? Unless he and his new foobu from LP will go to Alabang

Not much of fan of Ramen as I am more of a sushi-sashimi guy. However, Mendokoru is the best one for me among the local Ramen shops.

Baka mahal kay Kags yung Mendokoru. Di daw sulit sa pera nya.

We ate at Tong Yang today. Buffet style. Hindi na yung mag order ka na unli. Parang pre pandemic na,ikaw na kukuha ng food mo. And I don't think 60% or 70% capacity kasi lahat ng table may laman at puno. I just find it weird na yung ibang bansa nagbabalikan sa lockdown eh maluwag na pinas.

Had the same experience when we dined at Sambokojin. Though they increased prices, numbers of diners were almost the same as pre-COVID. What bothers me though is the huge amount of waste plastic gloves used by diners when they get food.

Sana nga nag Sambo na lang kami. Controlled yung beef sa Tong Yang. Unlike sa Sambo it's always available. 3 things I always go for eat all you can. Grilled beef, sashimi and tempura. I always binge on those only.

what i remember from those places,
was the oil my glasses had when we left the place.

at my age, it's not anymore the amount, but rather the quality.
it's something i would not have understood, in my youth.

My experience with buffet style is that the dishes were limited and if it is an ala carte style buffet it takes long before your order is served due to understaff.

before chinatown's best removed it from the regular AYCE (all you can eat) menu,
the crabs were slow in coming.
