goji's are good and yes they are packed with nutrition far more than the other berries, but during processing some of these element deteriorates, this holds true to malunggay leaves as well...

am i a believer? yes i do, i do take fern c and alive and personally i feel better, when i am sick i triple the dose and it does heals my problem, but they are not miracle drugs, they are just supplements to boost your immune thats it=)

when there is a need to take antiobiotics i still do, coupled with alive and or fern c, to hasten up my recovery.

MLM does earn... a LOT they need to pay the advertiser, the marketing and product distribution... but if you get the actual price of the product itself, it cost merely 25%...

Our deep well water in Laguna tests positive, from time to time, for E.Coli contamination. And I used to live in Sampaloc... where I had to check my tap water for wrigglers every time i brushed my teeth. Good thing for me i was in the province when they had the viral hepatitis outbreak from contaminated water lines in UST... I lived just next door. Despite the protestations of Manila Water that the water is clean... I've lived in Manila long enough to know that you can't ensure the purity of water from every outlet... especially considering the thousands of kilometers of broken, corroding and cracked pipes running under our feet.

Oh... and I got Hepatitis A in high school... from drinking tap water.

Water bottling facilities and drinking water vendors (as well as the companies making "health drinks" ) must pass stringent tests and certification to sell "mineral water" and "distilled water". I don't drink "mineral water" that much, as too much is bad for you, but I do drink distilled and purified water. We buy purified because we're too cheap-ass to buy our own water-softening and filtering kit... which we will eventually. The high mineral content of our ground water really isn't that good for our health and simple boiling alone doesn't always suffice.

And there's a big difference between selling a health drink that touts its "anti-oxidant" properties (with a "no approved therapeutic claims" disclaimer) at market prices and selling juice at ten times the market price as a cure-all for all of man's ills.

maybe too clean isnt good as well, we used to drink distilled water, with the expenses of the machine and with no mineral at all, we scrap the machine and buy bottled water at 28pesos per 5 gallons

They do get sick. They just don't go to the hospital for such a simple thing as hepatitis or diarrhea...

Of course, as a kid, I used to drink tap water, swim in the river and drink out of drinking fountains with lead pipes. Still alive.

I'm not an MLM member of any organization or company. I'm a full time engineer working in a oil and gas processing sector. I am not even a Goji juice drinker. And I am not endorsing this juice. I just want to share to you my mom's experience about Goji. She's not even an MLM member. She's just a drinker of the juice for almost a year. She's almost 70.

In her first few months with the juice, she became stronger. She told us to try it. My replied: That juice came from the devil. It's too expensive. I didn't believe her bec. my belief is in order to be physically fit, you have to do the right things, eat the right foods, and drink water. We are what we put in our bodies. But later, I realized that she's also right. Bec. the juice is working for her. Now, I'm the one buying the juice for her even if it's expensive.

The lesson here is that, do or take what you think is right for your health. Some will say that you need this or that to be healthy. But if you think that calamansi is good, then take it. One more thing, anything in excess is not good. Btw, I don't believe in anything (even to what people or even doctors are saying) except when I tried it. So for Goji, I will try you.

To pinoyaco, thanks for your story. It was worth reading your post. Too many things to learn. Especially on how a person behave in posting. Wish your mom a good health.

    Merci a tous.
