maybe that's why they bought it in the first place.

pearls is the reason sa comeback ng milkteh. It brings the child out of you.

ako may idadagdag = "pag naglaro have some fun wag gawin pasosyserious"

off the top of my head 2 things:

    1 - having things delivered

    2 - cooking at home

    bad for brick&mortar retail

    bad for the restaurant industry

Food you cannot replicate sa bahay = milkteh and chinese food.

there are many other foods, milkteh and chinese aside, that you may not easily replicate sa bahai.

pancit...? sweet & sour? napaka-dali lutuin yan.
    yelong kinaskas + sago + milk + asukal + flavor = milkteh.

And meron pa yung nagtitinda ng ube cheese pandesal.

    Pero pero pero pero

legit milkteh na sa bahay ginawa = Waley

Legit chinese food na bahay lang = another waley.

Doc nung wala pa covid kita mo gera sa causeway, mandarin sky and yung favorite ng mga pinoy yung Lam Tin

Ang dali dali replicate ng milk tea. Matagal ng ginagawa ng ibang tao yan even before it became popular. Even the ingredients are all over. May nabibili na nga nakatimpla by the gallon and even the pearls

Paano kaya naging mahirap i replicate Chinese. Lol.

Kahit sino magagawa yan milk tea e halo halo lang. It's not like baking a cake

What im trying to point out eh sa bahay mahirap sumikat na wala ka matino pearls, loose leaf from taiwan.

japanese chefs are gods. let's talk about something more down-to-earth.

chinese food is so forgiving. even a newcomer can whip up a decent chinese dish, by following downloaded instructions.
...are you a banyaga sa sariling kusina?

malay mo kung gaano kasagwa, or gaano kagaling, ang home-made ng iba? hindi naman tayo ini-imbita ng home-maker, eh. heh heh.

but i agree with you. masarap ang pagkain sa causeway point, SG. hassle lang pamasahe at overnight. pag nawala na covid... pramis to myself...

Yung mga local base milktea eh puro powder/syrup artificial flavroing base.

Alam nyo yung moonleaf na milktea. Halos sarado na lahat. KAsi puro flavoring like hokkadio and okinawa.

Yung preparation and presentation pa lang.

He claims to have a sophisticated palate pero ayaw ng Japanese food

Obviously he exists here to offer a contradictory opinion on everything. So what's the point of spending energy when it will never be a productive dialogue.

Malungkot yung vibe. Parang good for 5years tapos close na.

Buhay na buhay from afar may umuusok. Nung una nga akala ko chinese eh.
