off the top of my head 2 things:

1 - having things delivered

2 - cooking at home

bad for brick&mortar retail

bad for the restaurant industry

Ang dali dali replicate ng milk tea. Matagal ng ginagawa ng ibang tao yan even before it became popular. Even the ingredients are all over. May nabibili na nga nakatimpla by the gallon and even the pearls

Paano kaya naging mahirap i replicate Chinese. Lol.

cathey ang usapan dito legit oolong milkteh, sunmoon blakc tea, alisan tea. Yan ang nasa chatime at gongcha.

Hindi yung mga flavoring na wintermelon, hokkaido, okinawa. Kita mo pinangalan pa sa japanese na lugar pero mga cheapipay flavorings yan caramelly. Mga timpla ng injoy yan walang kwenta.





What im trying to point out eh sa bahay mahirap sumikat na wala ka matino pearls, loose leaf from taiwan. And sa chinese food naman kung no name ka mahirap sumikat sa pandemic.

chinese food is so forgiving. even a newcomer can whip up a decent chinese dish, by following downloaded instructions.

Cathey the problem kasi sa japanese food eh pang display lang talaga.. Wala sila basic food na patok.

Tingnan mo na lang paligid kung kamusta japanese food economy sa pinas. Malungkot yung vibe. Parang good for 5years tapos close na.

Ito ah hinid pa ako nakaka-kain pero si marugame udon nagustuhan ko ambience kasi luto. Buhay na buhay from afar may umuusok. Nung una nga akala ko chinese eh.
