Same. Pre-Jollibee mas juicy yung chicken nila. Is it possible they cooked the chicken to order before?

I prefer JTs for the taste and their garlic rice.

They pre-cook on the day, put it in a warmer of sort, then grill to fully cooked before serving.

Nakakamiss ang Mang Inasal. 2019 BC(before covid) pa yata ko last nakakain doon nung team lunch namin.

Me too. The chicken was juicier and their marinade was tastier.

in hindsight, pre-jollibee MI could only afford that quality and quantity and price if they were only breaking even or losing money

ang habol ng MI is, to use the tech terminology, active users

pag napansin ng Google or Facebook bibilhin ung startup and the founders make $$$

then Jollibee needed to make MI profitable

di naman pwede taasan ang presyo coz that's what mi is known for -- a low fixed price chicken meal with unli rice

so sa quality and size bumawi ang jollibee

I miss JT's! Much better than MI nga. Madalas kami sa Greenhills branch dati. When some starlets still hung out there.

    Jay Jay's is also good.

For the same reason, they are not worth it for take out/delivery. Hindi kasama sa take out yong mga unli nila so lugi ka.
halos walang lasa sa akin yun chicken oil.

Yes, bought by Max's group. More than 10yrs ago na yan, how is Teriyaki Boy doing now?

Although the chicken oil is enough for one cup of rice.

I guess they realized nagpapa dami kain ng customer if they can keep pouring chicken oil sa new rice.

Although at my age hindi na pwede unli rice. I miss those days na kaya ko maraming rice. Now I don't order the unli variant anymore.
