For tahong, i pick the smaller ones, withnthe greener (rather than black) shells...but am getting mixed results. Minsan muddy, or at times they have this gasoline-like aftertaste.
Re halaan: my neighbor says that you should let them soak in salt water, but just only enough water to cover them. Tama ba?
