Pls post where I can find the best steaks in town (kahit as far as Tagaytay / Batangas okay lang po).

    I've tried at:

Old Manila (at Manila Peninsula Hotel Makati):

One of the best tasting (beef) steaks I've had so far. Here, Salmon steaks melt in the mouth.

People are very nice and would serve you like royalties. Had a very memorable date in this place.

Price is a bit expensive. About 8k on the average dinner per couple. Siempre the tip would be somewhere around 1k.

Outback Libis: di ko nagustuhan yung Prime Rib nila (yung tig 2k isa), sumakit tyan ko after 30mins. Literally, it's 2.5k down the drain after 30mins. LOL!

Tender Bob's GH : Ok din steak nila. Very nice people. Price is affordable. (about 600 per meal)

Heaven & Eggs Eastwood : Good steak, big servings. Almost same price as Tender Bobs. Nice people.

Best I've tried so far (Prime rib) is at Flamingo Restaurant in Khobar, KSA.

Pakipost na rin po kung meron kayong suggestion na way of cooking steaks at home (incl the mushroom gravy).

    Thanks a lot :-)

    best according to budget:

99 pesos = in and out steak sa gilmore

    200++ pesos = 1. house of minis
    2. steak md sa tomas morato
    3. everything at steak sa p. guevarra san juan(badtrip lang parking kasi nasa loob sya ng petron, and extra gravy may bayad)

kasama sa buffet sa 7 corners in galleria suites, eat all you can for 950++ buffet.

    top 3

    melo's
    alfredo's
    number 1 - Guilliver's

pepato prepares a nice angus beef that melts in your mouth, what more if you ordered for a kobe beef,

to achieve the best tasting beef, have it done medium, there should still be real beef juice, once the outside has been seared nad heat up to the middle part, the beef need not be well done, you need some of the juice for the beef in order to help you digest the beef properly.

unless the beef is breed improperly, or the beef died of illness then it is not safe to eat your beef medium, or if there be spoilage on handling, but if handling is cares well as with the salmon that makes a good sashimi, dont worry about the bacterias.

however be warned that if you arer sensitive with semi raw foods consult a doctor first

Tried Elbert's in Salcedo Village a month ago. Pwede na rin steak nila but I prefer Guilliver's.

Top 3 steaks I've had were at Morton's, Smith & Wollensky and Peter Luger .

    Off topic:

Saan po mura ang Coffeemaker paper filter for Braun coffeemakers? No.4 po ang size. PhP74 per pack of 40pcs kasi sa SM e. Kinda expensive for a very little piece of paper. hehe

Bale disposable po ito, every time you brew, you throw it away afterwards.

    TIA!
