Nagmerienda ako minsan sa Tender Bobs sa The Block..Pwede na yung local ribeye nila, with java rice and veggies P250. Di ko naubos yung rice ang dami e. Holy cow sa Trinoma ok na rin US angus fillet P399.
We just had dinner last Sunday sa Cafe Ysabel as per Lady Rider's advise sa kabilang thread. We had Caesar's salad which is the most delicious Caesars salad i had. Stuffed mushroom as appetizer, didnt like it that much.
As for the main, i had Lamb Kebab, so tender and generous serving, my partner had the US Steak, kalimutan ko na tawag. Then shared peter pan cake (their version of ice cream cake). Damage = P1500

kwento ko lang two weeks ago I ate sa house of minis libis, I ordered porter house cooked medium well,in fairness to them I think I just got a bad batch, talagang nag LBM ako for 4 days...so just be careful when eating there....
I remember that day na I just had a breakfast sa house then wala na akong lunch I had a late lunch ther at around 2-3 pm then wala na rin akong dinner..
so for sure yun steak yun nag cause ng LBM ko...

Sa Outback din naman nag-LBM ako after just 30mins (good thing nasa bahay na). We ordered Prime minister steak (yun daw bestseller nila so tinry namin).
After paying for 2,500 per order, you wouldn't expect it'll go down the drain that fast, literally. hehehehe.
The steaks in Mamou (Serendra) and Cantinetta (Rockwell) are pretty good.
While you're in Mamou, you might wanna try the corn pudding as well!
Kung mapapasyal kayo dito sa Cavite bukod sa tagaytay highlands na sinasabi nyo try nyo din dito malapit sa Island Cove. Country Side, meron din syang branch sa may Dasma malapit sa Max's. then sa Cafe Marcelo sa may Imus, malapit lang sa may simbahan ng Imus yan. dyan kami madalas, medyo sa tingin ko kayang-kaya ng bulsa kasi yung iba nabasa ko nagbabayad ng 1200 up per head. dito sa mga nabanggit ko di aabot ng 500, try nyo lang! ;)
One reason why you got LBM sa mga steaks na nakain ninyo sa mga resto na yan was due to the meat tenderizers that they put, plus, the meat might not be fresh anymore.
Diba minsan nakakapagtaka na mura ang steak pero napaka lambot ng meat? It's due to the tenderizers talaga! Masama nga ang maglagay ng tenderziers sa meat lalu na pag hindi tama ang sukat or sumobra ng lagay kase it can cause cancer dahil preservative din yan.
Ingat na lang kayo and if possible, ask na lang ninyo what was the preparation of the meat....
Ako nga, if possible din, I ask the kitchen manager what constitutes the marinade of the meat that I am ordering. You can ask naman nicely without them noticing na careful ka sa kinakain mo... (hehehehe) Disimulado eka nga!![]()
