Strong Zero is not a beer. It’s more like a highball cocktail, whisky with tonic water. However, parang Di whisky yung lasa. The taste is similar to Mule or Hard Lemonade.
The kick is much stronger than beer, 9% alcohol, which is twice than the usual beer (5%).

Mayrun sa S&R nyan, parang 400 yung 4 cans. I prefer beer though. If I want some stronger stuff, I will pour myself a few shots of whiskey, vodka, gin, or tequila. Better yet mix them all then just add orange juice!

Pinoy beer ba kamo? This one is among the best local craft beers. Masarap din with balot.

Kapag craft beer ba, talagang parang fruity yung flavor?
Hindi ko nagustuhan yung engkanto dahil sa fruity flavor eh.
Yes, the added fruits and spices make the flavors distinct. Ales and IPA usually taste like that.
If you just want the flat and crisp flavor in a beer, I suggest lagers and pilsners. SMB Pale Pilsen is the usual pilsner. Engkanto has a Lager (blue) but the Pale Ale (red) is better.

Nice, thank you for the info sir.
Will try the Engkanto blue and red the next time I go to S&R.
Speaking of lagers, nagtitingin ako last week sa S&R tapos nakabasag ako ng isang Oranjeboom(?) kaya napilitan akong bilhin yung isang 6pack. lager yata yun iirc.
Okay naman, nagustuhan ko siya.
Basta ang hindi ko gusto ay yung mga matatabang like san mig light at yung fruity ang flavor.
Red Horse is stronger than the usual pilsner or lager at 8% ABV. The usual lager or pilsner is between 4.5 to 5.5% ABV.
There are much stronger beers out there and some are way much better in terms of flavor. There are Belgian beers rated from 9 to 12% ABV. There are also Double IPAs rated at 7 to 8% which offers more distinct flavors.
I have nothing against Red Horse but the taste is just flat - a bit sweet but not much body to it. Among the SMB products, Premium All Malt and Cerveza Negra have their own distinct flavor that differentiates them. Exception yung SMB Pale Pilsen as pilsners are meant to be light and easy to drink, something you can drink any time of the day.
