When ECQ was implemented, the nearby sari-sari store only had Red Horse in 1L bottles so we bought a few bottles.

I’d rather buy craft beer (like Engkanto) or German or Belgian than paying that much for Red Horse. Or maybe buy a bottle of Tanqueray gin or Absolut vodka or Jose Cuervo tequila, may sukli ka pa.

I went to the grocery kanina and had a sudden hankering for san mig pale pilsen. Strange thing though, there were no beers on the shelves except for those girly san miguel apple flavored beers and the san mig premium all malt variant. Bakit kaya?

Anyhow, I bought 2 cans of the latter and drank them tonite. Ok naman siy pero mabigat sa tyan.

I like the San Miguel Premium - crisp and light malt beer. However, I have not tried them in cans. I prefer beers on a bottle or the tap.

I was at S&R BGC yesterday to stack up on beers and spirits at home. I bought a Corona 6-pack, Paulaner 3-pack, and a Fosters 6-pack.

Paulaner is really good and I prefer the Dunkel. I am biased on dark beers.

Problem with those big containers is what if you can’t finish them in one sitting. It’s good for parties though.

Bar Pintxos is offering the growler bottle (4L) of Pilsner Urquell (Czech) for P888. That’s a very good deal. However I am not sure if it will fit inside the fridge and if I do open it, not sure how to keep its taste after only drinking a portion of it.

Jinro is not a beer, it is a soju. It is the staple Korean spirit made from rice or wheat. Much like the Japanese saki, it is drank neat (straight). Most sojus are not that strong, just around 20% alcohol.

I have soju at home too. Got them cheap at S&R for 4 bottles at 399 (Jinro Chamisul).
