Learned this in baler, tanduay rum 5 years and fresh buko juice. ratio is 3 parts buko juice and 1 part tanduay.
Best cheap drink ever. hehe bangenge kami after nun.
^ The best combi nga tanduay and fresh buko juice/water. Walang hangover kinabukasan. 1st tried that in mati, davao oriental. [emoji3]
do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do
Try it with fresh buko juice next time! hehe walang pait pero lakas ng tama.
Tanduay Dark (gold label, 80 proof) is quite good for a rum. Even foreigners love the distinctive aroma, sweetness, and strength from its sugar cane roots. You can drink it straight and chase it with just water, or make a strong cocktail out of it. If you want something more distinctive for a local rum, try Don Papa but it’s much more expensive than Tanduay.
Never a fan of rum or brandy but I’d drink it if there’s no other choice. I prefer spirits like vodka or gin or mezcal, even over whisky (Scotch, single malt, bourbon, Tennessee-style). I can drink beer any time. Hehehehe
