I know someone who was a medrep and now has a house in Corinthian Gardens, condo units, several cars to use (although di mahilig sa kotse), travels regularly, etc... He married the doctor. That's one lucky bastard indeed... ngayon bagman na siya for the father-in-law's construction company.

Early on it was a good career indeed. Laki ng bonus at dami perks plus almost unlimited funds for wooing clients. Nowadays with the dvent of many small player medical manufacturer nagbawas na din. Ang masama pa, yung mga doktors na nasanay sa dating treatment, ganun pa din naman ang inaasahan. So sometimes bonus ng ga medrep, pamabayad na rin sa personal expense kasi minsan sa sariling bulsa na.

Ganun talaga kapag naging competitive na. Siyempre kung okay ka pa naman sa salary, gagawin mo nga naman lahat para tumarget para may bonus na addt'l pang-gastos.

Actually, masaya naman ang trabaho ng medrep. Almost di nagagalaw ni wifey ang basic salary nya sa work since madami sila allowances. Wala din siya definite na oras ng pasok. Depende yun sa "AREA" nila. may mga hospital kasi na maluwag sa medrep meron din 11am-1pm lang pwede magcover. Yung sa mga doctors naman, nasa budget nila yun. Yun lang, mas magaling ang medrep pag napagkasya nila ang budget while making their doctors feel pampered.

Wifey started as a medrep from a small pharma and now in a big international pharmaceutical company.
