Doc, it works for both men and women. If a guy or girl only dates highly value partners, siya din magiging desirable na kasi what's with the person na nakaka kuha siya ng high value partners

Pero what I learned importante na ngayon sa mga pinoy specs ng babae not just the looks. In my Paulinian friend's case, sa boys she met, status > looks

    di naman bago ito

mahalaga ang specs sa high society coz malakas mamintas mga taong yan

you don't marry just anyone with looks pano kung jolog magsalita nakakahiya yun

you don't marry a saleslady or a rank & file

you marry someone from top school, with glamorous job/career, well traveled... ung ma-impress mga big hair society ladies

I agree with high society, that's universal. But with my Paulinian friend's experience, it happens even with middle class na rin. Ang problema, she desires high specs pero bakla siya magsalita e. I love her but sometimes it's frustrating to talk to her when you have to explain terms and figures of speech.

Honestly I cringe when she calls me sis, bakla, girl and she uses words like pak, bet, waley etc

Yung prospect 2 niya hindi pa naman nagta tagalog

the middle class is adopting upper class standards and tastes

    --

evidence suggests that the majority of women simply do not think the majority of men are attractive enough even to consider communicating with them in a dating context.
dahil madami bagay nakaka turn off sa babae, women set filters on dating apps to eliminate men they don't wanna date

filters on income level, educational background, height etc

so women practically eliminate the majority of men

that leaves only a small percentage of men they're willing to communicate with (tall, higher earning post grads)

women are going after that small number of men

    kaya matindi ang competition

    swerte ang mga lalakeng yan

I think depende pa rin sa lalake.

If a guy is earning big, di na ganun kaimportant if may career yun girl.

If naaachieve naman ng guy yun mga wants nya (big house, cars, able to travel) di na nya need ng help from the wife.

pwede ung walang career ung girl pero di pwede ung walang magandang background

like graduate ng top school tapos wala na ginawa kundi mag travel

    then nag asawa

This is a country with high gender equality so plenty of smart and talented women end up as career women, at least early in their lives.

So perhaps Filipino Men prefer smart and talented women, not necessarily career women as that is the simply the result of the aforementioned traits.
