    And do our politicians realize that this is the reason why American education is going to the trash bin...coz parents can't discipline their kids...hence they end up as spoiled brats that don't listen to their teachers.

    I read about this Tiger mom that is very strict with her daughters upbringing.

    i don't agree with this. . .spanking children--properly--is part of the rearing process

    maybe those bill sponsors had bad experiences of beating (not spanking) when they were little

    Aso nga kapag hindi nadidisiplina tumitigas ulo, tao pa kaya. Ok lang paluin, wag lang sobra na mamamaga or may pasa. Tsaka gumamit ng tsinelas lang para hindi kamay yung lalatay. Sa Psychology may effect yung difference na yun.
