automatic na palit ng oil filter every oil change. kaso hindi nagpapalit ng oil filter 5,000 km after. sa casa kasi either mineral or synthetic palit ng oil filter every 5,000 km.

i was using speedyfix RP oil change package. palit din air filter every oil change. ordinary spark plugs, plait every 20,000. madumi lang ng konti ang spark plugs after 20,000 pero no sign pa of damage.

sobrang dumi ng air filter after 20,000 km. so every 10,000 na ako nagpapapalit.

So, how does one clean all that sludge? you have to take the engine apart and wash it with something, put it all back and okay na? or may nasisira because of that sludge that you have to replace to get it going again?

additives make the engine oil sludge faster. for any car engine.
problem is almost all oil (mineral, semi syn, full syn)have additives. best practice is to monitor weekly and change oil when sludge is detected.
learn to live with this kind of regimen.

at kung di na kaya.....change car.

engine flushing when doing oil change may be a solution but...

it may lead to other catastrophic damage to your engine naman.

iyong engine ng altis namin ay nasa putting it all back. iyong mga critical na alignments ay ginagawa sa machine shop. Hopefully by tomorrow lalabas na sa machine shop para mabuo na ng mechaniko ang makina.

* meledson, sir tanong ko lang po, any signs before tumirik sa kalagitnaan ng byahe yang ZZ niyo po? such as decrease in performance, rough idle, slowed acceleration and seems to heavy? that happened at a certain time(not actually the day that the incident happend) this is whats been happening to my 04 ZZ,. anu na po mileage ng ZZ niyo? thanks sir

ever since na nabili ang altis na 2nd hand, kumakain ito ng oil. hindi naman mausok at wala naman tagas.

pero mga 1 month before na tumirik, sabi ni mrs na parang mahina na ang makina. na drive ko, ok naman.
