    Yes, for a while... In my observation, the more you use the brakes with the engine off, the harder the brake pedal gets. It'll work, yes, but you'll need legs of steel.

    Is this for a fuel economy thing? Forget it... leave the engine on... too dangerous.

    Yun nga... brakes will work, but after the first two or three presses, they'll get very hard. (From experience, "driving" a towed vehicle.)


    And if you're thinking of driving downhill with the engine off, don't do it. Too dangerous.

    I think it will still work but not as precise as the engine running.

    while the engine is off, the vacuum supply for your hydrovac is stopped and eventually you will have a difficult time stepping on the brake.

    yes, it will engage. You have enough vacuum stored for 1 or 2 brakings, after that, you'll have to exert a lot more pedal force.
