Hi guys, I just want to ask what is your break-in routine for a new vehicle? A friend of mine always make sure that he goes somewhere far to have access to an express way to be able to run the engine to higher RPMs and be able to constantly change RPMs without interruption due to tight traffic.

I've done only one somewhat successful break-in and that was when we bought a vehicle somewhere from the province and drove back home. The next vehicle we have was never really "broken-in" properly yet as we never had the time to go somewhere far and it is hard to push RPMs high enough based on the vehicle manual along EDSA.
