Severe use- Mobil 1 5w-50 with super syn
Normal use- synthetic 5w-40
asian/local packing comes in Liters while the U.S. in quarts 946ml to be exact.take note 1.3cc engines kulang ang 3 quarts coz your engines require 3 Liters of oil.

i will try Elf DX 15W-40 on my next oil change on my trooper(500km to go). sabi sa kabilang board ok daw at recomended din ni jeep c. any feedbacks? sir jackaroo(oil guru), what do you think?

Have not used nor know anyone using the Elf Dx. Don't think they make their own oils.

sir, engine ng trooper ko is the 4jg2 local. havent tried synth(old engine ko and at the same time, expensive) Elf of France produces 'Performace Thropy Plus DX' 15W40 and it exceeds CH-4/SJ specifications. Euro 2 and 3 compliant pa sya. Kabibili ko lang for around P550 per gallon. i like to try it after some recomendation ang reading a thread from 4x4ph(forgot ko thread title). me nabasa ko post mo about testing the 'used oil' for its viscosity. care to explain? TIA
