There regular engine treatment is just a viscosity modifier, No zinc or other anti friction additives, If your already using a good 40 weight oil there really is no need to use it. Now there green oil additive has moly and probably worth a look.

if i am to buy an additive, i would probably buy LiquiMoly MoS2 because of the high amount of Moly in that product.

but i do not add any additive to my oil.

The MoS2 is a pretty solid additive, some oils have that level of moly in it, well pretty close like Motul 300v.
