0loap/hbk: I had it done at Tower of David sampaloc (cor. espana and maceda sts.) Then name of the mechanic was Ambet. Actually, I was looking for my regular mechanic, Neil, kaso he wasn't around coz it was a Sunday and this was the first time I saw Ambet. Siguro he was a pullout from another branch. Well, I guess it was just my day because he solved my problem.
Yup, my auxillary fan is connected to my a/c compressor so that it just turns on whenever my compressor is on. But my radiator fan is a different story. Originally, belt-driven ang radiator fan ng Vitara. We converted it to an electric fan type with switch so that I could manually turn it on or off during deep water fordings. The radiator fan was connected also to an independent thermostat that automatically turned the radiator fan on or off depending on the water temperature. However, nasira itong custom thermostat around May 2003. I wasn't able to find another thermostat like it so I made the fan permanently on full-time but still retaining the manual switch. I think it was somewhere during this time that my original idling problem came about.
