Feeling ko problematic batch talaga car ko (first batch ng release) On its first year twice napalitan compressor. It also had central locking issues after warranty pero I asked for warranty appeal which was approved.

I am so so disappointed because the car is barely used. Sariwang sariwa pa yung paint and interior and it's casa maintained. It's not a laspag car na you would expect issues

They still drove it to the dealer, even with a bad engine? I would've asked that they tow it.

But age is a great equalizer of sorts. The older the car, the higher the chance of it failing and needing repairs.

Sure, you may have only done 41k on the drivetrain, but that doesn't stop individual parts and materials from ageing and disintegrating, simply from the passage of time. For example, rubber and plastic tends to become brittle as they age. Electronics that were exposed to extreme temperatures and vibration tends to develop component failures, or cold solders. In fact, any combination of those things (ie. a glue holding a coil in place becoming brittle, causing it break loose due to vibration and causing a fissure on the solder, etc.) will eventually cause failure, one way or another. There could be hundreds of iterations on how the problem started. But as they say, time will tell.

Yup because nobody here told me to have it towed kaya I assumed driveable The car jockey idled it pa while doing the checklist and told him engine problem yan, that's when he shut off the engine 😳

My 2010 Altis kasi absolutely no repairs done pa kaya I'm disappointed with my 2014 Altis. Never experienced engine problems in any of the cars I had kasi. Yung big body ko sa power steering sumakit ulo ko hehe

automobiles are complex machines, with a myriad of metal and plastic and rubber parts, with dollops of glue here and there.
given enough time, something will go wrong, even if it's doing nothing but princessize-ing in the garage.

    my guess is,
your rough engine is probably a dead cylinder. it could be a dead ignition coil, or it could be a defective electrical pathway, or an ill-seated cable.

we could coach you on DIYs, but i do not think that is your cup of tea.

Doc wag naman dead cylinder, my impression is that's practically good as throwing my car away unless I get a new or overhaul my engine? I am getting so anxious already 😭 It will really break my heart at kamalas malasan ko if that's the case, 41k km car na alagang alaga. Hindi nga naa arawan and I personally detail.

I am praying na ignition coil lang as most people say here. Kasi that's a simple and non expensive fix ata

I checked the oil, ganda pa ng color. Golden pa. Hindi din naman nagbawas

Re driver, naalala ko tuloy my Mom said malakas ako manakot or magpa nervous ng people around me [emoji23] Example one time sa plane the FAs were talking then I told my Auntie parang I smell something bad baka may engine problem. HAHAHA. My Aunt calmed me down but it was after some time na lang she told me she got so scared too [emoji23]

I told the driver sana makarating ka at hindi tumirik. Maybe that is why hindi siya nag AC hahaha

Ignore Doc ... he's doing an old blue or whatever his new nick is ... you took care of the car well ... it's just a minor issue ...

    Update on my issue:
the rough idling and engine shaking or "dieseling" issue has resolved today when i replaced my no. 2 injector on the fuel rail. I've checked yesterday for the diagnosis for all of my injectors and they found that the injector no. 2 was the fault.

How did you know? I seriously did have my palpitations again. Had to take Benadryl to calm me down (my doc recommended this for my anxiety)

And the answer is IGNITION COIL! Valve cover gasket with oil leak too

I called 2 people when I thought my car was gonna tirik. Si Ahya (car guy ko since teens) and ULS. Ahya said could be CVT problem. Natakot ako! Uls said ignition coil agad

Those who said ignition coil, congrats hahaha! Thank you also to the rest that gave their insights. Kailangan na rin ng cleaning

Can you guys check ano pwede tanggalin sa 40k or okay na lahat?

Btw, I'd replace the 4 coils na as jick suggested.

Ignition coil 2 din ang sira ng sakin. What is with the 2nd?!?!
