Simota lang ang pinakamura... pero some shops will make the adapter for you. Talagang within the 1000 to 2000 peso range yung mga adapters... maybe a little more kung yung tube type that will allow you to use a cone filter.

*conzky: just soak it in soapy water for a while, then rinse it out. Don't use pressurized water or air, as that may damage the filter. Let it air dry for a day or so. If it's a K&N type or a new Simota that requires oil, you'll still need to add some filter oil... though it's not strictly necessary, these filters won't keep out all the dirt without it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Just a question. Sorry I'm a newbie to these things. Pano kung naka simota airfilter ka, pwede ka ba magpa engine wash? O do you have to remove the filter muna and just clean it on your own?

Yes, there is. You have to hunt around. Some shops make their own, others have pre-made pieces from Simota... you can possibly even find these adapters at mall shops like Blade.

Just had my Simota short-ram air intake replaced by my stock airbox (with new oem filter) yesterday. Ramdam ko agad ang pagkakaiba, mas malakas nga humatak pag open-type/cone-type intakes. Although yun nga, pag sobrang init ng klima, nakakaramdam nga ng heat soak (parang tumutupe/knock yung engine), which I don't think is healthy for the engine.

Anyway, I still have peace of mind since yung stock airbox naman is designed for a purpose. Goodbye whistling sound, hello same old "sluggish hatak"... Pero oks na rin, tumipid naman konsumo sa gas.. and besides hindi naman ako nagd-dragrace.

Mga sir question lang po... newbie ako dito tungkol sa air intake... I just replaced my engine from 4G52 (gas) to D4BF turbo (diesel). Im still looking for an OEM air intake but I can't find one for my Gen 1 Pajero. I ask around and someone told me to install an aftermarket air intake instead. Is this a good move for me to buy an after market air intake. Thanks
