Spark plugs should be replaced at regular service intervals but how do you know when to replace them when the engine is running poorly? Some indications would be, reduction in gas mileage or developing an engine miss. These two items are definitely indicators but may not always be the problem.

NGK BPR6EY; Pwede kaya eto sa Mazda Familia GEN2 ko?

    OT:

My car's plugs(all 4) are showing carbon deposits since august this year.
Already tried 4 new sets of cold & hot plugs(regular 85-100 petot each) from NGK & DENSO brands. Currently Im using BKR6E(recomended for B6 engine)
Also did:change oil, tune-up; throttle body(TB) & distributor inspection then cleaning, including sensors & HTW timing gun set to 9 degrees(turned offed ECU using jumper wires)
    replace air filter
replace valve cover gasket then engine wash to eliminate leaks but still under observation 1week already.
fuel filter was replaced 5mos ago includes opening of crank case for oil pump strainer cleaning
    Compression test was: 155-145-165-155

My mechanic has advised me to do engine top off for checking & possible overhaul or replace gaskets only - I'm avoiding this inconvenience, opening the engine then discover irrelevant issues. Anyone would understand my Car is already 14yrs old & still a virgin. Ala pa nakakabiyak sa oto ko, even the transmission(manual). All-stock-original parts except for valve & oil pan cover gaskets, TB gaskets, vacuum rubber hose from TB hose to valve cover & HTW & a radiator repair.

Just a brief history: 1-click starting sya unless battery is drained, no white blue or black smoke behind it. No Idle issues, never overheat, B6-DOHC-16V still powerful even w/full load. 1 lang nag bago, umi-itim plug tip in 1week use. Sarap pag bago plugs kasi bago tune up then after a week or so rough na manakbo, chug-chug na sya pag bumabagal andar. Then replace or linis na nman ako!

Does anybody know a place in QC where they do FUEL & EMISSION systems check clean injectors using synthesizers & then emission test. Isang lugar lang sana para less hassle. mahirap kasi mag isolate ng issue pag iba-iba gumawa

I would appreciate a good advice! More Power, Merry Xmas & Happy New Year Thanks....

speedlab doesnt clean injectors. they just remove the fuel rail and outsource the cleaning to precision along roces ave. injector cleaning is not cheap though. inspetion of spray pattern is ar 300 per piece minimum of 4 pcs. if cleaning is required, be prepared to shell out 2000 per injector again minimum of 4 injectors. so 8k agad.
