signs/symptoms of a loose compresion on diesel engine

fibzzz , since nagpagawa ako injection pump the other day sa betan .. i found out may diesel engine compression test sila. you might want to check it out. mas mura.

thanks carlogt! i already inquired sa betan they do have the compression test BUT not for my specific engine nissan patrol zd30. Although it is a diesel engine, turns out that my engine is a lot "deeper/malalim" than other diesel engines so kelangan daw ng mas mahabang adapter to test it. hassle talaga i thought pa naman na one size fits all hehehe. oh well if all else fails CASA nato hay gastos/taga

baka yung tube lang yan after the intercooler.

wala naman loss of power. medyo bumaho lang yung usok pati lumakas yung vibration ng engine. naprapraning lang ako cuz dami daw oil sa intercooler nung binuksan ng mechanico (autotechnika) isip ko baka loose compression. pinacheck ko na sa casa "normal" lang daw sa patrol na magka oil sa turbo pati intercooler pinapalinis lang daw. Well i guess kung sabi nila normal edi no prob na tlga siguro hehe.

nope its not the pipe. chineck ko ok naman.

pinapalitan ko muna injectors then pa check sa casa.

Its possible, but the only way to be sure is an onboard diagnostics (tech2).

Few days ago may patrol na iyan ang sira (confirmed by OBD) pag tapos palitan ang ganda ng response. Parang sumisipang wild na kabayo!
