December 31st, 2014 04:38 AM #1I need a very good shop to clean and check the diesel injection system.
I own a Nissan Elgrand 3.2 TD, with the QD32Diesel Engine.
The engine has 138000 km, all original.
Reason is black smoke under full power, fuel consumption to high compared to my friends Elgrand with same engine (10-12km per liter to 8-9 km per liter)
and a bit shaking at idle (not so much but more than the time i bought it).
The engine power is still very good, the engine runs well and pull strong.
The Turbo is stil good, it have around 9-10 psi max. boost.
The Engine needs 0.5l Motoroil for 2500km.
Used system and injector cleaner from Liqui Moly, that improve but not complete.
Use 2T Oil in the Diesel, mix it 200:1 and that improved the black smoke a littel bit.
That is the status from my car.
So i decided to check and clean the injectors, the injection pump is electronic controlled so there is no need for calibration i believe.
I know that Berrima Diesel in Manila is a very good shop.
Can you tell me other good and reputable shops in manila or north from manila ?
We live in Nueva Ecija, so Baguio or Angeles is also a good location for me.
What is with Speedlab or Speedyfix, good for Diesel or not ?
Thank you !
Regards
Ruediger

December 31st, 2014 11:05 AM #3you need not go to manila if there is a reputable shop around your locale that services fuel injection. As to your query, it seems your injector nozzles need replacement but only a reputable calibration shop can do this as they need to check its opening pressure. Parts may be hard to come by, though, as your nissan is not released locally..
happy new year!
