likot, if you like you can replace the filter but it's not necessary. may tutulo but 1 quart should be more than enough to top off the oil. hindi naman nakastart yung makina so what will drip will only be the one from the filter.

Good day sir Migs, will try rp ATF and manual gear oil sa next pms for the Vios and altis. Ok Naman po ba young rp ATF for the vios? It's a bit sluggish and heavy. My observation is it's the ATF that's need replacement.

yes, the atf will work on your car. pero if it's sluggish i doubt it's from there. try cleaning the maf and tb. pero keeping the atf in good condition is always a good idea.

sir, how much should i spend for an 2003 Trooper 4jx1 engine? change filter, brake pads, etc with labor. If I bring the parts then you install? how much do I have to spend? thanx

Kamusta na sir! dont forget yung sakin for my 25k change oil.. hahaha! Id expect around december pa yung next change oil ko.. but im now around 21k.. so estimate ko by october or early november na ko ulit pupunta sa inyo.

going back for Royal Purple 5W30 and Royal Purple M/T Transmission Oil and Differential... tsaka tune-up and complete checkup na din.

hi mazyred, IMHO lang po.. Im using the same RP 5w30, it gave me less fuel consumption

not an expert but as I have read regarding viscosity, 5W30 is quite 'malabnaw' so it gives the engine less stress dahil nga sa malabnaw yung oil.

next is dahil din malabnaw yung oil, mabilis siya mag 'heat-up' (hindi po overheat ha?) yung mag init lang... mabilis din mag cool down. (sa pagkaka-intindi ko sa mga nag e-explain sakin.)

one na-point out sakin is- do be carefull using these kinds of visccosity type of oils if the engine is quite old.. because it can seep out of the gaskets. (malabnaw nga daw po kasi siya)

it was my 15k change oil so medjo confident pa ko na intact pa yung seals ko.

best is observe your engine fc, temp, and oil guage or if may oil na tumutulo. (which Im also observing for the past 3 months now)

but don't take it from me. not an expert po.. just passing on what I have read and experienced up to now.

5w30 is perfect for the mazda 3. check your user manual and you'll see that it's the correct viscosity
