Very useful ang remote start sa cold climates (as in yung mga nag bebelow zero). You can leave your heater on then start the car malayo ka pa lang. Pag pasok mo sa kotse sarap, mainit na! Nung nasa Minnesota ako, how i wished AVIS would give me a car with remote start.
